Ingredients for Chia Seed Pudding
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds Look for fresh, organic chia seeds for the best results.
  • 1 cup milk Any variety works, including dairy, almond, coconut, or oat milk.
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries Choose ripe, juicy blueberries for maximum flavor.
  • 1-2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or agave) Adjust based on your sweetness preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor profile. Use good-quality vanilla.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl or jar, combine the chia seeds, milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract (if using). Use a whisk or fork to mix thoroughly.
  2. Stir well to ensure that the chia seeds are evenly distributed throughout the mixture to avoid clumps.
  3. Add the fresh blueberries and stir gently, avoiding squishing them.
  4. Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. Once set, stir well before serving, and top with more blueberries, nuts, or granola if desired.

Notes

For thicker pudding, let it sit longer in the fridge. This pudding keeps well for up to 5 days in the refrigerator. Serve it in layers to make it visually appealing.
