- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, buttermilk, sugar, apple cider vinegar, celery seed, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth.
- Taste your dressing and adjust the seasoning and vinegar to suit your preference.
- Add the coleslaw mix to the dressing and gently toss until all cabbage and carrots are evenly coated.
- Transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Once chilled, give it a final toss and serve.
Notes
Chill the dressing for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
