Method

Preparation
  1. Microwave the flour on high in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds to ensure it's safe to eat. Alternatively, spread it on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 5-10 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 160ºF.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla and milk, blending until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in the pre-cooked flour and salt, followed by folding in the chocolate chips. Chill the mixture for about 10 minutes.
Forming and Coating
  1. Once the mixture is chilled, roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in size) and place them on a lined baking sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes to set.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate chips and oil at 50% power, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler to melt the chocolate.
  3. Dip each chilled dough bite into the melted chocolate until fully coated. Place them back on the lined baking sheet to set.
  4. Refrigerate the coated bites until the chocolate sets, which should take about 10 minutes.
