Ingredients
Method
Prepare the Strawberry Yogurt Mixture
- In a blender, combine 1.25 cups yogurt, chopped strawberries, 1 tablespoon honey, and 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Blend until smooth, about 30-45 seconds.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and set it aside.
Create the Blackberry Yogurt Mixture
- In the same or rinsed blender, combine 1.25 cups yogurt, blackberries, 1 tablespoon honey, and 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Blend until smooth, achieving a deep purple color.
- Pour the blackberry mixture into a separate bowl.
Assembly
- Using a spoon, fill half of the ice cube tray compartments with the strawberry yogurt mixture, filling each about three-quarters full.
- Spoon the blackberry yogurt mixture into the other half.
- Place the filled ice cube tray in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4-6 hours.
- Once frozen, pop the bites out of the tray and store in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 weeks.
- Enjoy straight from the freezer for a refreshing treat!
Notes
Ensure yogurt is at room temperature for easier blending. To prevent sticking, freeze the mixture in a single layer and run warm water over the bottom of the tray before removing bites.
