Preparation
- Chill your mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes.
- In the chilled bowl, add 1 cup heavy whipping cream and mix at low speed, gradually increasing to medium speed until it begins to thicken (1-2 minutes).
- Once the cream has thickened slightly, slowly add in 1/4 cup chilled eggnog, beating until just combined (20-30 seconds).
- Gradually add 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, then resume mixing, starting on low speed and increasing to medium-high.
- Whip until the cream thickens and forms stiff peaks, being careful not to over-mix (1-2 minutes).
