  • 1 pint fresh strawberries Look for bright red strawberries with a vibrant green top.
  • 7 oz white chocolate wafers Ghirardelli melting wafers or Wilton’s Candy Melts are preferred.
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil Helps chocolate melt perfectly.
  • 1 tube black decorating icing Ready-made icing for decorating.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
Melting the Chocolate
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate wafers and coconut oil.
  2. Heat in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth (about 1 to 1.5 minutes).
  3. Be cautious not to overheat the chocolate.
Dipping the Strawberries
  1. Hold a strawberry by its green top and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about three-quarters of the berry.
  2. Let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl and place dipped strawberries on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes to harden.
Decorating
  1. Once the chocolate has set, allow the strawberries to sit at room temperature for 1 minute.
  2. Use the black icing to draw ghost faces on the chocolate.
Serving
  1. Arrange strawberries on a fun serving plate and enjoy with friends and family.

Notes
