Preparation
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly.
Melting the Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate wafers and coconut oil.
- Heat in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth (about 1 to 1.5 minutes).
- Be cautious not to overheat the chocolate.
Dipping the Strawberries
- Hold a strawberry by its green top and dip it into the melted chocolate, covering about three-quarters of the berry.
- Let excess chocolate drip back into the bowl and place dipped strawberries on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes to harden.
Decorating
- Once the chocolate has set, allow the strawberries to sit at room temperature for 1 minute.
- Use the black icing to draw ghost faces on the chocolate.
