Preparation
- Preheat the Broiler to 500°F and position the oven rack 4–6 inches from the heating element.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper if desired. Mix thoroughly.
- Drizzle olive oil over the pork chops and rub the seasoning mix generously on both sides.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned pork chops on a baking sheet. Broil for 3 minutes, then rotate the baking sheet and broil for another 3 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature of the pork chops. If it’s around 140-145°F, remove them. If not, flip and broil for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Serving
- Allow the pork chops to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For deeper flavor, consider marinating pork chops in the seasoning mix for a few hours. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
