Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces pork chops (¾ to 1 inch thick, bone-in or boneless, about 2.5 to 3 lbs total) Opt for fresh, well-marbled chops for juiciest results.
  • 4 tsp olive oil Extra virgin olive oil enhances flavor, but any cooking oil will work.
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (light or dark) Dark gives a deeper flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp dried thyme or parsley (optional) Feel free to play with fresh herbs for a burst of flavor.
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
Serving Suggestions
  • 1 pieces lemon wedges Optional for serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme or parsley, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  3. Lightly coat each pork chop with olive oil.
  4. Generously sprinkle your spice mixture over each chop, ensuring you coat both sides evenly.
  5. Place the chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, aiming for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  2. After 12 minutes, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature and continue cooking in 2-minute increments if necessary.
  3. Allow the chops to rest for 5 minutes after cooking to retain the juices.

Notes

Leftover pork chops can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
