Method
Preheat and Prep
- Set your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mixing the Ingredients
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, finely diced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, black pepper, red pepper flakes, salt, half of the parmesan cheese, and gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- Mix with your hands for even distribution of flavors.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl, and gently fold it into the turkey mixture.
Shaping and Baking
- Scoop about 1.5 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls.
- Place the meatballs on the lined baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.
- Lightly drizzle olive oil over the top of the meatballs.
Final Bake
- Bake for 22-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow them to sit for 2-3 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. You can also prep the meatballs ahead of time and store them in the fridge or freezer uncooked.
