Preparation
- Follow the instructions on the package to prepare the pie crust. Once baked, set aside to cool.
- Rinse your fresh strawberries under cold water and hull them. Slice the strawberries in halves or quarters, depending on their size.
- Generously layer the cleaned strawberries into the cooled pie crust, arranging them to look appealing.
Making the Filling
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, and 4 tablespoons of cornstarch. Stir until well mixed.
- Heat the mixture until it comes to a boil and turns clear, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry Jello powder until it’s completely dissolved.
- Pour the Jello mixture over the arranged strawberries in the pie crust, ensuring they’re all covered.
Chilling
- Place the pie in the refrigerator to set for at least 4 hours before serving.
